These terms govern your use of keptandco.eu and any order you place with us. By placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Philippos Aristotelous, trading as Kept & Co., sole trader, address {{ADDRESS}}, VAT number {{VAT_NO}} ("Kept & Co.", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@keptandco.eu.

2. Our products

We create personalised products (starting with blankets, and later prints, cushions and journals) featuring stylised artwork generated from a photo you upload of your pet, using AI-assisted image generation. You choose, review and approve the final artwork before we produce anything.

3. Placing an order

Before you pay, we'll show you the product, its total price including VAT, delivery details, and the terms that apply — including that this is a personalised item (see clause 6). The button you click to complete payment is clearly marked to show that clicking it creates an obligation to pay. Once you place an order, we'll send you a confirmation email — please check it carefully, especially the artwork and delivery address.

4. Your photo and the artwork we create

  • You confirm that you own the photo you upload, or have the right to use it, and that using it (and the artwork we generate from it) won't infringe anyone else's rights — including trademarks, copyrighted characters, or another person's image rights if they appear in the photo.
  • We may refuse or cancel an order if we believe an uploaded photo or requested artwork infringes someone else's rights, is unlawful, or is inappropriate.
  • You grant us the right to use your photo to generate, produce and ship your order, including sending it to our AI and production partners for that purpose.
  • We use AI-assisted image generation (via OpenAI) to create your artwork. You review and approve it before we print anything — see "How we use AI" on our Legal Notice page.
  • Once your order is delivered, you own the physical product. We grant you a licence to use the digital artwork for your own personal, non-commercial use (for example, printing extra copies for yourself). We may keep and use the finished artwork in our own portfolio or marketing, unless you ask us not to at checkout or afterwards by emailing hello@keptandco.eu.
  • Ownership and copyright in AI-generated artwork is legally unsettled in some respects — see research/legal.md §8 for the background our lawyer should review.

5. Price and payment

All prices are shown inclusive of VAT and delivery. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Once we've received payment and you've approved your artwork, your order enters production.

6. Your right to cancel — and its limits for personalised items

Under EU and Cyprus consumer law, you normally have 14 days to change your mind about an online order. Because every Kept & Co. product is made specifically for you from your own photo, this right does not apply once production has started (Law 112(Ι)/2021, s.27(γ), implementing Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive). We'll tell you this clearly before you pay, and again when you approve your artwork.

7. Legal guarantee

Every product comes with the statutory 2-year legal guarantee against defects and goods that don't match what you ordered, under Cyprus Law 154(Ι)/2021 (implementing EU Directive 2019/771). See Returns & Guarantee policy for how this works in practice.

8. Delivery

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or liability that can't be excluded under consumer protection law). Subject to that, our liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the product in question.

10. Complaints and dispute resolution

If something's gone wrong, please contact us first at hello@keptandco.eu — we want the chance to put it right. If we can't resolve it between us, you can refer the matter to the Cyprus Consumer Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (adrcyprus.com), or to the Cyprus Consumer Protection Service (consumer.gov.cy). The EU's online dispute resolution platform was closed by the European Commission in July 2025 and is no longer available.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, this doesn't take away any protection given to you by the mandatory law of the country where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version that applied when you placed your order is the one that governs it.
